- ⅓ cups, plus 2 tablespoons water
- 1 cup, plus ⅓ cup sugar (seperated)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 cups almonds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Now add in the rest of your sugar. Keep stirring, and add your vanilla. Stir until the almonds are fairly shiny, but still a bit lumpy. You don’t want them completely smooth. Then take them off the heat and transfer the almonds to a sheet of wax paper. Once they cool, if they last that long :) you can add them to pretty plastic bags and tie off with fancy ribbon. They make great gifts for the neighbors.
